International tea forum, selenium products expo close
BEIJING — The 2017 International Tea Forum and the Fourth Selenium Products Expo closed on Friday in the Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, central China's Hubei province.
Opened on Tuesday, the events have attracted over 200 tea enterprises, 400 companies of selenium industry and nearly 2,000 guests from over 38 countries and regions.
A series of special activities were held during the events, including the Tea Masters Cup International competition, Global Tea CEO Forum and a summit to mark the 200th anniversary of the discovery of selenium.
The events have yielded abundant fruits as 30 deals and agreements in trade and investment were inked, involving a total trade volume of $40 million and investments exceeding 10 billion yuan.
As the World Capital of Selenium, Enshi is to hold the 5th Selenium Products Expo in 2018.
