While China's economy is growing at its slowest pace since the global financial crisis, the country has achieved solid progress in re-balancing its economic structure from manufacturing and investment to services and consumption.
Meanwhile, China's industrial structure is being upgraded continuously. High-tech industries and the equipment manufacturing industry experienced higher than average growth last year. The country has been transforming itself from a low-cost manufacturing giant to a high-tech manufacturing power through the "Made in China 2025" initiative.
