Top five luxury destinations help boost China to the top
The latest report by Boston Consulting Group has revealed China remains the biggest driver in the world's luxury market, despite the country's economic slowdown.
According to the report, True-Luxury Global Consumer Insight, China ranked on top, as the result of an increased appetite for luxury consumption, in a survey of more than 12,000 consumers worldwide.
The top five most popular luxury shopping destinations, among Chinese, have been listed below:
5. Milan

The report also revealed bespoke became the most desired feature among luxurious clothing, jewelries and bags.
It also noted luxury spending habits mostly occurred at home, with only 35 percent of Chinese people stating they purchased their last luxury item abroad, compared to 61 percent two years ago.
