Hong Kong stocks close 1.34% lower

HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks fell 298.31 points, or 1.34 percent to close at 21,923.70 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 22,012.51 and 21, 807.96. Turnover totaled HK$49.02 billion ($6.32 billion).
