Chery plans for new Brazil plant
(China Daily) Updated: 2013-04-08 07:59Domestic carmaker Chery Automobile Co plans to build a new facility in Brazil to make and supply engines and transmissions for its assembly plant about to start production, according to recent foreign media reports. Head of Chery's Brazilian operations Luis Curi said the company wants to produce 1-liter and 1.5-liter engines locally.
