JLR's Dream Fund for young people

As joint partner of the Dream Fund and one of the most respected non-governmental organizations in China, the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation has long been devoted to developing and educating young people.

"We are building the future and take the development of children as a serious responsibility, which also clearly identifies with Jaguar Land Rover China's CSR principles," said Jing Dunquan, vice-chairman of the foundation.

"I believe our collaboration will integrate our combined resources across a number of areas and help build a bridge for the younger generation that will lead to them realizing dreams."

The fund has been structured around four program areas: Sports for All, Road Safety, Children & Youth Development and Social Care.

Two initial programs were launched at the event. Land Rover Never Stop Caring Journey for Vision program will screen thousands of children for eye problems, enabling them to get glasses and/or treated for serious eye conditions.

The Jaguar China Youth Football Development Initiative will bring the spirit of Jaguar Alive with ambitious sports program across China.

Sport participation will not only build healthy bodies but also build stronger character to best serve these young people as they become adults and contribute to society in the future.

The program is supported by the world football legend David Beckham, who is also the Jaguar brand ambassador in China.
