China Unicom sets up auto networking firm
(chinadaily.com.cn) Updated: 2015-08-17 10:05China Unicom recently registered a subsidiary with 170 million yuan ($26.5 million) in registered capital, according to auto.163.com.
Last week, China Unicom signed a memorandum of cooperation with an information service company in Beijing to work on the vehicle networking technology, auto.163.com reported.
The cooperation will reportedly establish a standard for vehicle networking applications in China.
China Unicom is one of the largest telecom operators in China.
