Ma Huateng: Sharing economy reserves development potential
Ma Huateng, or Pony Ma, CEO of Tencent Holdings Ltd, a delegate to the NPC suggested that adhering traditional industry's management theories in establishing the regulation of a "Sharing Economy" cannot facilitate the innovation in the industry.
According to Ma, last year's market scare of China's "Sharing Economy" has surpassed 10 trillion yuan, while the volume reached more than 30 trillion in the US and more than 90 percent was contributed by a non-financial sharing economy.
