Blue Sky Lab, a co-creation platform focusing on air, water and food products, launched its new offering - smart portable air purifier called ATMOBLUE - on Friday to meet people's need for clean air.

The mask-like air purifier claims its protective performance could reach 98 percent, compared with mask's highest national standard of no less than 90 percent in China, and it could automatically change airflow rate based on the live physical exertion levels of the user with its intelligent air system (iO2).

ATMOBLUE has H13 HEPA filter carrying smaller windage resistance and more average usage time, which makes it distinct from its rivals, said Ted, an engineer at the company, at the product launch event.

The official website of Blue Sky Lab said that the filter could block 99.9 percent of air particulates and its average usage time is 150 hours, while the unfolding area of the filter is 60 square centimeters, which according to Ted, is large.

Established in 2016, Blue Sky Lab got several millions of yuan as angel round financing from ECO Fund, according to a report by internet startup service provider 36Kr in August.

Beyond the core team, Blue Sky Lab also has makers and creators from all walks of life to participate in researching, developing, manufacturing, financing products.
