Yellow River Delta Economic Trade Fair held in Dongying

More than 2,000 investors from within China and around the world converged at Dongying in Shandong province to participate in the First Economic Trade Fair of the Yellow River Delta High-Efficient Eco-Economic Zone, held from June 24 to 25. "The Fair aims to promote the development of the Yellow River Delta High-Efficient Eco-Economic Zone. It will showcase the development advantages and potential of the Yellow River Delta to attract more overseas investors," said Wang Renyuan, deputy governor of Shandong province. A number of key industrial projects, including new energy, new materials, infrastructure, modern agriculture and tourism will be introduced at the Fair. Development policies, targets, and industrial layout will also be introduced, in order to help the world get to know the Yellow River Delta a little better.
The Yellow River Delta High-Efficient Eco-Economic Zone includes the six cities of Dongying, Binzhou, Zibo, Dezhou, Weifang, Yantai and 19 counties. Covering an area of 26,500 sq km, it is the river delta with the most development potential in China. The Economic Trade Fair will be held annually by the cities of Dongying, Binzhou, Weifang in that order. (For more biz stories, please visit Industries)
