OOCL invests in Tianjin logistics

OOCL Logistics (Tianjin Bonded Logistics Park) Co Ltd, the largest logistics center in North China for the Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), has formally started operations.

The logistics center, based on the policy advantage of the Tianjin Bonded Logistics Park and the function advantage of Tianjin Port, offers international container transportation, warehousing, distribution, container transshipment and other value-added services. The center will become a key strategic base for OOCL in North China and Northeast Asia.

OOCL is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal companies, and owns 230 branches worldwide. At present, it invested roughly US$100 million in Tianjin, covering shipping, wharf, international and domestic logistics, warehouses and land transportation.
