Jier Machine-tool Group Co has signed a contract with Dana Australia for providing a 1,000-ton transfer press, the first time for Chinese-built heavy-duty press-forging products to enter the Oceania market.

Dana Australia is a branch company of Dana Corporation headquartered in the United States. Dana is one of the world's largest automotive parts manufacturers and opens factories in more than 30 countries. It is a main pressing equipment supplier for General Motors (GM) and Ford.

Before this contract, the Dana Corporation purchased ten Jier presses including a 5,000-ton transfer press for the American market.
