Economic boom spawns business programs(China Daily)Updated: 2007-01-15 09:33 Apart from becoming a research-oriented school, Tsinghua SEM has been aiming to become more international. Its partners include MIT Sloan School of Management, Harvard Business School and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Each year, Tsinghua SEM sends faculty members for training at these business schools as part of its faculty development program. At the same time, it has set up an international academic exchange network, which allows faculty to communicate with their foreign peers and enables them to keep up with advances in research. "Doing is better than saying," Qian says. "Progressing steadily is a tradition of Tsinghua and we will keep at it."
