GE gets US$200m QFII quota

GE Asset Management Incorporated, a global investment firm with some US$198 billion in assets under management, yesterday announced that it had won a US$200 million investment quota by China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

The company received a business license and designation as a qualified foreign institutional investor (QFII)last summer. The quota provides the company with access to China's A-share equity market.
