After establishing an internal electric network, State Grid will replace 1,979 vehicles with electric-powered ones in the next four years. At the end of the 11th Five-Year Program period (2006-2010), 4,200 electric buses will run on 420 public transportation routes in the pilot regions. Another 535 electric taxis will also be put on the roads.

To satisfy the increasing needs of electric cars, State Grid will speed up its pace of building charging stations and standardize power chargers.
