CPI announcement postponed to July 20

The National Bureau of Statistics said that it will postpone the announcement of the consumer price index (CPI) for the first half of this year one day to July 20.

According to the bureau, its spokesperson Li Xiaochao will announce on July 20 key data, including CPI, producers' price for farm products, industrial product price, industrial production, fixed assets investment, and real estate climate indexes.

Other data concerning the performance of the national economy in the first half year will be announced at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office at 10 am on July 19 as scheduled.
