National Bureau of Statistics said Monday it will issue consumer price index and urban fixed-asset investment data for August on Wednesday, bringing forward their release dates because of the Mid-Autumn Festival public holiday on Monday next week.

The CPI data was originally scheduled for Thursday and the investment data September 17.

The bureau will also issue industrial production data for August on Friday, bringing it forward from September 16.

The release date for August's producer price index remains Wednesday and that for August's retail sales data is still Friday.
