Sinohydro wins 4.9b yuan railway construction contract

Updated: 2009-03-09 17:44 Sinohydro, China's leading hydraulic construction contractor, has won the bid to construct a 72.79 km railway in Jiangsu province, part of the railway connecting Nanjing and Hangzhou, according to a statement posted on the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) website
The Beijing-based company's business ranges from transport infrastructure, dredging and reclamation to hydropower and hydraulic works. In 2008 it entered the railway construction market.
