Hong Kong stocks close 1.23% higher on Thursday

Hong Kong stocks rose 239.68 points, or 1.23 percent, to close at 19,761.68 on Thursday.

Turnover rose to HK$57.77 billion($7.46 billion ) from Wednesday's HK$53.38 billion ($6.89 billion).
