China to float $3.93b three-year T-bonds Thursday

China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Wednesday it would issue 26.86 billion yuan ($3.93 billion) of three-year book-entry T-bonds Thursday, the 22nd batch of its kind this year.

The bonds have a fixed annual interest rate of 2.18 percent. The sales period will run from September 10 to 14. The bonds will be tradable September 16.

Interest will be paid on September 10 every year, with the principal paid on maturity, namely September 10, 2012.
