Construction steel stocks continue to rise in Shanghai

Construction steel stocks in the Shanghai market have climbed for the 11th consecutive week. The pre-holiday scenario was gloomier than expected with the price of construction steel nudging down in both the spot and futures markets. The frail trend is expected to hold on for a while. After the week-long holiday, local stocks are expected to return to 800,000 tons as seen in early this year.
