Chery Auto has announced that it will bring its three sales divisions, 24 new car models to the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show in April to present the new image of "Greater Chery" under the "safer, more energy-efficient, more eco-friendly" theme.

The unveiling of the "Greater Chery" image and models will usher in a brave new chapter in Chery Auto's expansion into the global market. Its efforts to develop own-brand luxury sedans have started to pay off with earlier this month's launch of compact sedan brands Riich, Rely and Chery G6.

To boost the images and growth of its four strategic passenger vehicle brands -- Chery, Riich, Rely and Karry (minicar), Chery Auto has set up three sales divisions -- Chery Sales Company, Qilin Sales Company (for Riich and Rely), and Karry Sales Company.

The three sales companies have forged the extensive sales system of "Greater Chery" this year for the automaker to achieve greatness in its brand image and sales. The year 2009 is the second year of Chery going global with its high-end sedan brands.

The 2009 Shanghai auto show will be offering Chery Auto a big stage to present its new image to the world's auto industry.
