Baotou Steel Rare Earth net profit up by 627% in H1

Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Rare-Earth (Group) Hi-Tech Corp said Tuesday its net profit for the first half of this year jumped 626.77 percent from a year earlier.

Net profit hit 354 million yuan in the first six months on revenue of 2.33 billion yuan, which surged 157.33 percent year-on-year, according to its interim report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Earnings per share rose to 0.44 yuan in the first half.
