China's auto market will rise to 20 million units by 2015, with "booming" sales of green cars, Nissan Motor Co CEO Carlos Ghosn said on Tuesday.
At a briefing in Beijing, he told reporters that Nissan would produce batteries and electric motors for emission-free vehicles in China.
The Japanese automaker, the largest Asian car manufacturer in China, said earlier on Tuesday that it plans to almost double its annual sales in this country to 2.3 million vehicles by the end of 2015.
