Chinese energy companies going abroad should be strongly supported by the financial market, said Deng Hui, vice president of the 10th Session of Chinese Enterprise Go Global Strategic Forum.

"When these companies go overseas to conduct mergers and acquisitions, financial market plays an important role. Besides bank loans, energy companies also rely on direct financing ways such as initial public offering," Deng said. He added that the forum will aim at deepening communications between energy companies and financial intuitions.

The forum held by WRSA Entrepreneur Alliance will open in December. Participants include China National Petroleum Co, the China Petroleum and Chemical Co, and China Development Bank.
