Logistics center boosts Shandong-Heilongjiang farm products circulation

An agricultural and sideline logistics center was established jointly by Shandong province and Heilongjiang province on Dec 27 to promote the circulation of agricultural products and byproducts between the two sides.

The center is located in Shangzhi, a county-level city in Heilongjiang province, with a total estimated building area of 15,000 square meters. To date, 2,600 square meters of construction has been completed.

It is designed to provide Heilongjiang locals with green farm products and thousands of varieties of fresh seafood that has been delivered directly from the coastal Shandong province.

Shandong is a major source of agricultural products for the nation and for the neighboring countries of Japan and South Korea.
