BEIJING - Sporting goods businesses, experts and associations from China and abroad gathered in Beijing on Thursday for the opening of the 30th China International Sporting Goods Show, the largest of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region.
Some 1,200 sporting goods enterprises are taking part in the four-day event, which will have over 5,000 booths to exhibit products in six categories, including sportswear, sports equipment, accessories and stadium facilities.
The show has attracted 2,000-plus businesses and purchasing groups from more than 40 countries and regions, along with sports-goods associations from six countries and regions.
The show was inaugurated in 1993 and held twice every year since 2002.
