BEIJING -- Sinopec Corp, China's largest oil refiner, said Saturday that its crude oil output rose 4.33 percent to 163 million barrels year-on-year in the first half.
Domestic crude oil output was up 1.16 percent to 152 million barrels during the period, while overseas output jumped 82.46 percent to 11.13 million barrels, according to an unaudited report released by the company.
Natural gas production rose 14.2 percent to 51.64 billion barrels from January to June, the report said.
The company is listed in both Shanghai and Hong Kong. On Friday, its shares dropped 0.65 percent to 6.08 yuan per share in Shanghai but gained 1.88 percent to HK$7.06 (91 cents) in Hong Kong.
