GENEVA - Japan requested for consultations with China on its anti-dumping measures over high performance stainless steel seamless tubes from Japan, the World Trade Organization (WTO) said Thursday.
Japan alleged apparent breaches of several articles of the Anti-dumping Agreement and other provisions of GATT 1994, according to the WTO.
China's Minstry of Commerce announced the results of an anti-dumping investigation against the products in November and decided to impose anti-dumping duties over the products from Japan and other countries starting Nov 9, which will last for five years.
