BEIJING - China's imports and exports of electronic and IT (information technology) products amounted to $1.1 trillion in the first 11 months of 2012, up 4.1 percent from the same period last year.
Exports of electronic and IT products increased 4.5 percent to $627.3 billion, accounting for 33.9 percent of the country's total exports, said the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Monday.
Imports stood at $441.2 billion, up 3.5 percent and accounted for 26.7 percent of China's total imports.
Exports of telecommunication equipment jumped 14.0 percent year-on-year to $133.1 billion, while electronic devices gained 13.5 percent to $78.3 billion, said the MIIT.
Over the January-November period, exports of home appliances decreased 9.3 percent year-on-year to $78.3 billion, while electronic materials saw a decline of 18.5 percent to $4.8 billion, according to the MIIT.
