Chinese stocks open lower Friday

BEIJING -- Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.13 percent to 2,322.94.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 9,386.47, down 0.10 percent from the previous close.
