HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks rose 77.67 points, or 0.36 percent, to close at 21,895.4 points on Thursday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 21,944.47 and 21,538.19. Turnover totaled HK$57.31 billion (about $7.39 billion). ($1= HK$7.75)
