BEIJING - China Unicom, one of China's three State-owned telecom companies, added 1.71 million new mobile subscribers in June, bringing the total number to 295 million.
It had 67.4 million fixed-line broadband subscribers by the end of June, an increase of 363,000 from a month earlier, the company said earlier this week in a statement.
However, the company continues to lose fixed-line telephone subscribers, with the total number decreasing to 86.07 million by the end of June, down 776,000 from May.
