Bank of China was formally established in February 1912 following the approval of Sun Yat-sen. In 2013, Bank of China was enrolled again as a Global Systemically Important Bank, becoming the sole financial institution from emerging economies to be enrolled for three consecutive years. The revenue of the firm is 649.41 billion yuan in 2014.
