NEW DELHI -- India is focusing on five services with regards to economic and trade relations with China in order to bridge the growing trade deficit between the two countries, said local daily Indian Express Monday.
The newspaper quoted the ministry of commerce and industry as saying that the five services include information technology, pharmaceuticals, textiles, agricultural products and tourism.
New Delhi also planned to form a joint working group with Beijing to discuss the growth of these services in the country, said the report.
"This will be a ministerial level joint working group and will outline the strategy to market Indian services in India. The group will meet soon," the report quoted a senior official of the ministry as saying.
