BEIJING -- China's current account surplus in the first half of 2015 hit $152.2 billion, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange announced on Friday.
The surplus reached $76.6 billion in the second quarter of the year, with goods trade surplus and service trade deficit at $137.6 billion and $50.4 billion respectively.
Meanwhile, China also reported a deficit under the capital and financial accounts totaling roughly $76.6 billion in Q2.
Good trade surplus and trade deficit in H1 reached $256.5 billion and $95.5 billion respectively while deficit under the capital and financial accounts hit $94.5 billion.
