The expo witnessed foreign trade contracts and agreements of intent worth 158 billion yuan ($24 billion) being signed during the past week, according to the organizer.
About 5,000 businesses from about 90 countries and regions participated in the expo, which attracted 800,000 visitors to its merchandise exhibition.
Co-hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and the provincial government of Yunnan, the six-day event focused on international cooperation of industrial capacity, the building of economic corridors, and technology innovation and transfer.
