China's April exports up 14.3%, imports up 18.6%

BEIJING - China's exports in yuan-denominated terms rose 14.3 percent year on year in April while imports increased 18.6 percent, leaving a trade surplus of 262.3 billion yuan ($38 billion), customs data showed Monday.
Foreign trade volume reached 2.22 trillion yuan in April, up 16.2 percent year on year.
