Top 10 most youthful cities in China
The latest report released by Tencent Big Data on May 4 has revealed Shenzhen scores the highest title for 'the most youthful city' in China for 2017.
According to the document, the average youthful index of China's first-tier cities reached a total of 78, the same result achieved in 2016. However, while the average index showed a downward trend by city level, second-tier provincial capitals' youthful indexes have increased significantly.
The index, based on Tencent's instant-messaging QQ app users aged between 16-years-old to 35, was calculated by the fluctuation in the young population proportion within each city.
Below are the top 10 most youthful cities in China.
No 10: Hangzhou, Zhejiang province
