Top 10 billionaires in clean energy sector

Four Chinese have made into the world's top 10 billionaires in clean energy, an industry ranking showed.

Wang Chuanfu, founder and chairman of BYD Group, ranked as the fifth wealthiest businessman in clean energy, according to the list compiled by industry outlet Clean Technica.

Michael Bloomberg, US politician and philanthropist, crowned the list, followed by Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of electric carmaker Tesla, and Aloys Wobben, founder and owner of engineering and environmental service provider Enercon.

10. Fan Zhaoxia

Net worth: $1.1 billion

Nationality: Chinese
