The zero-emission Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Qinghai-Tibet railway is the world's highest railway, connecting Xining of Qinghai province and Lhasa of Tibet autonomous region. Its total length is 1,956 kilometers, or 1,215 miles, and nearly half of the track was built 4,000 meters above the sea level.
The official Xinhua News Agency said it is a eco-friendly railway with zero emission.
