More than 6% of Liaoning's energy created through wind power

Liaoning province's electric grids generated 10.03 billion kilowatt-hours from wind power, up 27.37 percent from the previous year, according to the State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Supply Co Ltd. Wind power made up 6.38-percent of the province's energy mix last year.

Grid-connected wind power created 5.63 million kW of energy, an increase of 18.3 percent from the previous year. Last year, the company transmitted 1 billion kWh of wind-generated electricity to North China.
