A team of ice sculptors from Ontario created the truck, complete with license plates and pine tree-shaped air freshner, around the frame of a regular chassis. The sculpture was commissioned by Canadian Tire, which wanted to show how well the car batteries it manufactures hold up in the cold. Creating a working truck out of ice was no easy feat for the artists at Iceculture. A steel frame was needed to provide extra support and fans had to be incorporated to prevent hot air and exhaust fumes from melting the exterior.[Photo/icpress.cn]
