Chery Automobile-controlled Karry Auto is set to launch its latest seven-seat multi-purpose vehicle K50 that is powered by 1.5-liter Chery ACTECO engine on Tuesday in Hefei, capital city of Anhui province.

The four-cylinder natural aspiration gasoline engine is in line with the National IV and V emission standard, and outputs 80 kilo watts maximum power and 140 Nm peak torque.

The powertrain, transmitted by either an automatic or a five-speed manual transmission, consumes 6.9 liters fuel per 100 kilometers.

Every K50 runs on 15-inch tires, and equips 4-direction adjustable front seats, multi-function rear view mirror. The top version features 7-inch screen infotainment and navigation system, button start, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, electric controlled windows, follow-me-home headlight.

Designed into sport-utility-vehicle style, the K50 has a ground clearance of 170 mm, with an approaching angle of 23 degrees, and departure angle of 22 degrees. The new MPV is 4,450 millimeter long, 1,750 mm wide and 1,790 mm in height, and has a maximum capacity of 2,900 liters.
