Montaser Oklah, chairman of the Jordan Investment Commission, said his country is looking to attract Chinese automakers.
"It is now time for Chinese companies and investors to come to Jodan. Our country is very safe even in an unstable area, and we offer many incentives to Chinese companies," he said.
Abdulla Saleh, under secretary of Foreign Trade and Industry of United Arab Emirates, said the United Arab Emirates values its relationship with China's auto industry.
Chen suggested that Chinese automakers should cooperate with each other instead of competing as they seek to increase their presence in the Middle East.
"The more we team up, the stronger we will become," Chen said.
