Luxury automaker Lamborghini launched a one-off limited edition Centenario at the 2016 International Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday.

Equipped with a V12 naturally aspirated engine, the Centenario provides an output of 770 hp (556 kW) and with the engine speed limiter raised from 8,350 rpm to 8,600 rpm, it's the most powerful engine produced by Lamborghini, the company said.

The model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and from 0-300 km/h in 23.5 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h. Its braking distance is 30 meters from 100-0 km/h and 290 meters from 300-0 km/h.

The body is built with carbon fiber, which leads to a low weight of 1,520 kg. The model measures 4,924 mm long and 1,143 mm high.

The model is aerodynamically designed. Its extending rear wing could provide more down force at high speed. The introduction of rear-wheel steering provides increased agility and stability.

"The Centenario is a car that perfectly combines tradition and innovation. It looks to the future while honoring the legend that is Ferruccio Lamborghini," said Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

This year is the centenary of the birth of the carmaker's founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. To celebrate it, the company will produce 20 coupe and 20 roadster versions of the Centenario, at a starting price of 1.75 million euros plus tax. All 40 cars are already sold out, the automaker said.
