Andreas Blazoudakis, founder and CEO of Delivery Center, said he believes "the reality of China today is the potential of Brazil tomorrow."

"There are 4.3 million orders per day on meituan.com, while there are only 4.3 million orders per month on Brazil's ifood," he shared as an example, adding that there is huge potential in Brazil. After founding movile, the "Tencent" of Latin America and ifood, the "ele.me" of Brazil, the entrepreneur founded Delivery Center in 2006 to tap the same-hour and same-day delivery market in Brazil, he told participants.

The company hoped to raise $6 million to invest in 23 operations in the 2018 financial year, according to Delivery Center's funding brochure.
