Wife can't get Kylie Minogue out of her head
The pregnant wife of Kylie Minogue's holiday partner can't get the pop princess out of her head in what she said was the worst week of her life.
Laura Dahm, who is eight months pregnant to Mexican-born film director Alexander Dahm, broke down in an interview with British tabloids and warned of the damage a dalliance with a married man could do to the singer's image.
"This week without doubt has been the worst of my life," she told the News of the World from her home in Mexico City.
"I am supposed to be enjoying the last few weeks of my pregnancy, getting ready for our baby. Instead I am crying and constantly on the phone to my husband begging him to come home as he is being accused of sleeping with one of the world's biggest stars.
"He has begged me to believe him that there is nothing between him and Kylie and I have no choice but to believe him."
Alexander, 39, told Laura he was going away on business in Chile with Kylie after meeting her on a bikini shoot but London's Sunday Mirror reports the pair have been having a telephone romance since they met.
The rumours have taken their toll on Laura who has a three-year-old son, Matias, with Dahm.
"What really bothers me is having to explain to my family, friends and at my son's school there is nothing happening.
"It's horrible. It's very unpleasant and has got very dirty. I could never imagine I would find myself in this situation."
And through the tug of war, she showed concern for her nemesis: "I just feel very sorry that Kylie is getting a bad reputation."
Minogue, who turns 39 in a fortnight, has denied she is having an affair with the director, saying it is "completely immoral to be involved with a married man".
She is on a working holiday in South America, researching a film.
