Tony Parker denies cheating on Longoria, again
NEW YORK - Tony Parker has never met the French model who claims they had an affair, his lawyer says.
"Tony adamantly and unconditionally denies ever having laid eyes on this woman, let alone having had an affair with her," Los Angeles-based attorney Stanton "Larry" Stein said in a statement Tuesday. "The allegations of the supposed affair are entirely false and fabricated."
Last week, Alexandra Paressant alleged in an interview with celebrity gossip Web site X17 that she had an affair with the San Antonio Spurs star in September. She claimed she attended his July 7 wedding to Eva Longoria in Paris.
"There were a lot of people at the wedding," Stein told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "Did they remember seeing her at the wedding? No. We're trying to find out about that."
Stein said the newlyweds are "shocked and angered" by the allegations and are seeking damages for defamation and invasion of privacy.
Parker, 25, and Longoria, 32, defended their marriage last week.
"I love my wife," Parker said in a statement from Longoria's spokeswoman, Liza Anderson. "She's the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier."
"Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband," said Longoria, who stars on ABC's "Desperate Housewives."
