Barrymore, Long split up

Drew Barrymore's publicist has confirmed the U.S. actress and her beau, "The Break-Up" actor Justin Long, have broken up.

"I can confirm the split with no additional comment," Barrymore's representative said.

A source close to the pair told Us Weekly, which first reported the breakup, that they remain friends.

Barrymore, 33, and Long, 30, started dating in August 2007 after knowing each other for several years..

Barrymore said of her relationship in the March issue of Vogue, "My cheeks hurt, I'm so happy."

Long and Barrymore will still share the screen in the upcoming comedy “He’s Just Not That Into You, ”  which is set for a February 2009 release.
